How do churches minister to men who are struggling to overcome addictions and put their lives back together? This is a question that haunted Pastor Russ Couwenhoven as he handled day-to-day responsibilities of church ministry. While a local church may have a heart of compassion for these men, they generally do not have the resources or expertise necessary to give them meaningful help in their journeys of recovery. Pastor Russ had a vision of a ministry which would take in men who were in recovery, house them, provide daily accountability and Christian mentoring while creating opportunities to make a positive contribution to society.
